The Fairview Board of School Directors held
its annual public reorganization
meeting on
December 3, 2001, at
which they took action on the following matters:

Elected Dr. Robert Rodak as President and Mrs. Mary Lou
Zone as Vice President
for 2002

Authorized a signature plate for the new board
president and a surety bond in the amount of $l,000,000 be
secured
·
Approved the use of the current signature plate
until the new plate is received
Set the following dates and times of the
public meeting dates for regular business:
January 28, 2002
July 22, 2002
February 25, 2002
August 19, 2002
March 18, 2002
September 23, 2002
April 22, 2002
October 21, 2002
May 22, 2002
November 25, 2002
June 24, 2002
December 3, 2002 Reorganization

7:30 p.m.
at Fairview Elementary School

Accepted the minutes of the November 19, 2001,
public board meeting
·
Appointed Susan Rosendahl as board representative
to the Vo-Tech School for a term of three years from December,
2001, through December, 2004.
·
Approved the administration to advertise and
accept bids for two new school buses
·
Approved the facility usage request of the United
Steelworkers of America Local 3l99-18 at PHB to use the Garwood
Auditorium at a date in December to be determined with rental
fee waived and upon receipt of proof of insurance
·
Approved the list of personnel matters which
included the hiring of Steven Sanford as a math teacher at
Fairview High School

December 19, there
will be a special public board meeting for approving Plancon
Parts D & E and general business as well as appointing a
person to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Schaffner.
December 19, 2001 – 6:45 p.m. Interviews for
candidates followed by a Committee of Whole meeting. The public board meeting is set for 8 p.m. at Fairview
Elementary School All meetings are open to the public.
