Fairview School Board Briefs For December 1, 2004

BOARD BRIEFS

The Fairview Board of School held its annual reorganization meeting on December 1, 2004, and took action on the following matters:

· Elected Laura Symes as President and Jim Breckenridge as Vice President for 2005

· Authorized a signature plate for the new board president and a surety bond in the amount of $100,000

· Approved the use of the current signature plate until the new plate is received

· Set the following dates and time for the public business meetings for 2005:

January 24, 2005 July 18, 2005

February 28, 2005 August 22, 2005

March 14, 2005 September 26, 2005

April 25, 2005 October 24, 2005

May 23, 2005 November 21, 2005

June 27, 2005 December 5, 2005 (Reorganization)

Time: 7:30 p.m. Place: Fairview Middle School

· Accepted the minutes of the November 22, 2004, public board meeting

· Approved the personnel matters as contained in the packet

· Approved the job descriptions for the Athletic Director and the Assistant Athletic Director

· Approved the reappointment of Mrs. Suzie Rosendahl as board representative to the Vo-Tech School for a term of three years from December, 2004, through December, 2007

The list of personnel matters and all other board back-up material can be viewed at the Central Administration Office from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m
