BRIEFS
The Fairview Board of School Directors held
a special public board meeting on August 21, 2006, and took
action on the following matters:
- Accepted
the minutes of the board meetings held on June 26, July 25,
and August 7, 2006
- Approved
the Treasurer’s Report for July, 2006, as well as the
Capital Reserve Report, the Cafeteria Report, District
Retirement Benefit Account, and the high school and middle
school activity accounts
- Approved
the Organization Chart
- Approved
the English as a Second Language contract with Intermediate
Unit #5 for the 2006/07 school year
- Approved
the Confidentiality Agreement for student teachers,
administrative interns, volunteers, and other persons deemed
appropriate by the superintendent
- Approved
the second reading of the Breach of Computerized Personnel
Information policy
- Approved
amending the 2006/07 General Fund Budget to include Special
Education Extraordinary Expense Revenue of $4,904.88, and
further approved the Spending Plan as outlined
- Approved
the a la carte prices for 2006/07 and authorized the
administration to make changes and or deletions throughout
the school year
- Approved
the purchase of Capital Reserve Equipment as follows:
(1) 2007 Ford
F-350 4x4 Chassis Cab and Plow from Bob Ferrando World at a cost
of $25,461
(1) Hustler
TrimStar 17 hp Walk Behind Mower from Lubiniecki Welding and
Equipment at a cost of $4,558.20
Reconditioned
wrestling room mats and new gym wall mats from Resilite Sports
Products at a cost of $8,830
- Approved
Curriculum Equipment purchases to be paid from the 2006/07
General Fund Curriculum Funds as follows:
Art Supplies from
Great Lakes
in the amount of $9,701.40
Gas
Range
for Family and Consumer Science from Arthur F. Schultz in the
amount of $499
Band Supplies from
Interstate Music at a cost of $3,900

2006/07
