The Fairview Board of School Directors held
a special public meeting on
July 21, 2003, and took action on the
following matters:

Accepted the minutes of the public board meeting
held on June 23, 2003
·
Bills payable and payroll for July, 2003, were
approved
·
Approved the Treasurer’s Report for June, 2003
·
Approved the personnel matters (may be viewed at
the Central Administration Building as part of the board minutes
book)
·
Approved the substitute service personnel salary
rates for 2003/2004
·
Approved the Landowner Consent Form from the West
County Snowmobile Club for 2003/2004
·
Approved Policy 621 – Budgetary Reserve (the
Policy Manual is on the district’s website)
·
Approved the district’s Strategic Plan Update as
presented at this meeting and the Act 48 Plan
·
Renewed the Assistant Superintendent’s agreement
for a five-year term effective 7/1/04 through 6/30/09
·
Approved to accept the Lien Free Tax Sale
Agreement
·
Approved the district to transport Girard students
attending the afternoon session at the Erie County Vo-Tech
School from the Vo-Tech to Fairview Middle School for the
2003/04 school year at a cost of $780 per year
·
Approved the purchase of band and choral risers
from StageRight at a cost of $15,870
