BOARD BRIEFS

The Fairview Board of School Directors held a special public meeting on June 7, 2004, to vote on the class rank issue and for general business.

The motion to suspend Policy 214 failed with a vote of 4 no to 3 yes.  With that motion not passing, the Class Rank recommendation was withdrawn.

The board then approved to accept two retirement letters – one from a bus driver and one from a high school biology teacher.

The board approved to purchase technology equipment in the amount of $100,008.14 from Expert Computer.

There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
