8:45 – 10:00         Homeroom opening;
                            Social Studies, Science or Health

10:00 – 10:40       Special

10:40 – 12:35       Language Arts

12:39 – 1:09         Lunch

1:10 – 1:40           Recess

1:40 – 3:00           Math

3:00 – 3:15           Homeroom

3:15 – 3:25           Closing/Dismissal

This schedule is provided to help you when scheduling doctor/dentist/etc. appointments.  Language Arts and Math are the most important periods of our day.

HOW CAN I HELP MY CHILD DO BETTER IN THIRD GRADE?
A Checklist for Parents

  1.     Keep your child healthy.
  2.     Talk with your child.
  3.     Listen to your child.
  4.     Praise your child.
  5.     Be patient with your child.
  6.     Avoid comparing your children
  7.     Set the stage for good homework habits.
  8.     Schedule home study on a regular basis.
  9.     Set a bedtime and stick to it.
10.     See that your child’s school attendance is excellent.
11.     Know exactly how your child is dong in school
