THE ADMINISTRATION AND STAFF of the Fairview School District is taking the opportunity to remind our staff and students concerning proper personal hygiene procedures. We are doing this as a pro-active step to the international concern over the swine flu. The building administrators, in conjunction with their nurses, are reminding students and staff of the strategies and activities they can do to keep them safe from harmful bacteria and viruses. Each day the custodial staffs clean the buildings, especially the student desks, with a disinfectant product to kill unwanted germs. We are also receiving updates several times a day from the PA Dept. of Education, the local Health dept. and the local Emergency Management team concerning the latest news about the swine flu outbreak. If you have any concerns about an illness that presents itself in your family, please call your physician with questions. We hope that we all stay happy and healthy as we move towards the final weeks of the 2008-09 school year.
