Softball Fund Raiser/Boys' Basketball vs. Mercyhurst Prep:
The girls' softball team will sponsor a spaghetti dinner Friday, February 5th from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m at Fairview Middle School. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens and $5 for children under 10. Following dinner at the middle school, basketball fans can see a rematch of last year's District 10 Championship when the Tigers battle Mercyhurst Prep at 7:30 p.m. The junior varsity game starts at 6 p.m.
Booster Boogie:
The Music Boosters will sponsor an evening of dancing and fun for adults over age 21 at the "Booster Boogie" on Saturday, February 27th from 7:30 pm to 12:30 am at the Fairview American Legion, located at the intersection of Route 20 and Maple Ave. Live music by the Bluescasters, a local blues, country and classic rock band. Admission is $10.00 per person ($12 at the door) and includes snacks, soft drinks, and a chance to win a $50 gas card and $100 cash. Winners need not be present to win. There will also be a silent auction and raffles throughout the evening that will cost extra. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are available at Lynch Music, at the door, or by calling Darlene at 474-4922. Proceeds from the "Booster Boggie" dance will benefit the Fairview Marching Band.
Fairview School District Night with the Erie BayHawks:
Fairview School District Night with the Erie BayHawks on Thursday, February 25th at 7:00 pm. It will be a great night out for the family and a chance to support your school. Fairview 7th and 8th Grade Chorus will be singing the National Anthem. Fairview Jr. and Sr. Winter Guards will be performing at half time. Discounted ticket cost is $10.00. Tickets are available at the concession stand in the FHS cafeteria. Order forms are available in each of the school offices, or call Andrea at 474-1269.
