Officer Grinch and his sidekick Max showed up at the school today for Grinch Day! He must have known it was "his" day!

FHS Sketchbook Winners

These 4 Elementary School students were by a door that led outside and they saw their teacher outside trying to get in the door. Even though they knew who that adult was, they remembered the safety instructions given to them by our SRO, Officer Stevick, and they promptly notified another adult instead of opening the door themselves. Because of this, these students are now officially a part of Officer Stevick's School Safety Academy! We are very proud of them!!

During a field trip to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 5th and 6th grade students participated in a Hack-a-Thon and created unique devices.
One group created a device to help stop the spread of infectious diseases in schools that sprays a mist that kills viruses and bad bacteria. This device can be installed on the ceiling and is refillable.
Another Group created a bus safety system. It has 2 plastic screens on every seat that automatically rise to shield students from diseases. It also has a disinfectant that sprays down to clean the system at the end of each route.

Come out and see an amazing show this weekend.

Fairview School Foundation FHS November Student of the Month

Our Elementary School students have been learning about all the different Holidays Around the World. There are different tables set up for each holiday in the hallways and the students have the opportunity to read about them and see different items used during the traditional holiday celebration.

Our students had the best time during the Turkey Trot, even though it was held inside this year! As you can see they danced, trotted, and gobbled their way to having fun! FES is so lucky to have Mr. Quiggle as our Physical Education teacher!

ECTS October Student of the Month

Students in Ms. Arnone’s fifth grade math class used their decimal division skills with Skittles and M&M’s. Each student created a table with the amounts of each candy in their package and used their numbers to create and solve a division problem.

2nd Grade using the kites they made in Science class as part of their air and weather investigation chapter! (Clearly during a much nicer part of the year!)

Thank you to our school community for donating 5488 items for the Community Holiday Collection Drive. Once again, our families stepped up in a big way to support those in need this holiday season.
