All Friday Events Canceled
Due to the extreme weather forecast for Friday, our campus will be closed and all events (practices) are canceled.

Our final Fairview Foundation Hero of the Day for 2022 is a very special one. This student embodies what it means to be a Fairview Tiger and to do all things with love. Waylon Stevens, in Mrs. McKechnie’s class, noticed that a student in his class was sitting all by themselves in the cafeteria. Due to Waylon’s caring heart, he decided to switch seats and join that student so they were not alone. Waylon’s thoughtfulness shines each day through his kind actions, and that makes his classroom and our school a great place to be! Congratulations Waylon Stevens for being a great friend!

Congratulations to our 2022 holiday card contest winner, Paislee Leone. Paislee is in Kindergarten at FES. She is pictured here with her Art Teacher, Miss Lybrook and her parents, Vince and Allison. Paislee's card will be shared with all of our District employees and school friends. Great work, Paislee!

Just a reminder to join us on Sunday at noon.

Officer Stevick and our students had a great day on Grinch Day! Officer Stevick even brought in his trusty sidekick, Mickie, to play Max! Mickie loved the role and all the love she got from the students! Needless to say, she was exhausted by the time she got home!

Officer Grinch and his sidekick Max showed up at the school today for Grinch Day! He must have known it was "his" day!

These 4 Elementary School students were by a door that led outside and they saw their teacher outside trying to get in the door. Even though they knew who that adult was, they remembered the safety instructions given to them by our SRO, Officer Stevick, and they promptly notified another adult instead of opening the door themselves. Because of this, these students are now officially a part of Officer Stevick's School Safety Academy! We are very proud of them!!

Our Elementary School students have been learning about all the different Holidays Around the World. There are different tables set up for each holiday in the hallways and the students have the opportunity to read about them and see different items used during the traditional holiday celebration.

Our students had the best time during the Turkey Trot, even though it was held inside this year! As you can see they danced, trotted, and gobbled their way to having fun! FES is so lucky to have Mr. Quiggle as our Physical Education teacher!

2nd Grade using the kites they made in Science class as part of their air and weather investigation chapter! (Clearly during a much nicer part of the year!)

Thank you to our school community for donating 5488 items for the Community Holiday Collection Drive. Once again, our families stepped up in a big way to support those in need this holiday season.

Mrs. Sharp was featured on Jet 24 TV for her fantastic cookie class. The kids all love it and her cookies are so tasty too!

Some of our busses are running late this morning. We appreciate your patience.

Dr. Kincade came down to spend some time and read his book "Hey Ralphie You're not a Tiger!" to Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten class. Based on their expressions, I would say that they loved it!

Ms. Shally took the whole 4th grade to see an Erie Philharmonic performance. They listened to music by different composers based on a Nature Theme!

And the winners of the 4th-grade Storybook Pumpkin Patch decorating contest are.....3rd place with his Narwal and Jelly pumpkin was Anson Huang. 2nd place with her Pizza and Taco pumpkin was Hayley Bargilski. And 1st place, with her Grinchy pumpkin, was Lauralynn Kosmatine! Great job on all the pumpkins 4th Grade!

Storybook Pumpkin Patch
4th Grade Students "planted" a Storybook Pumpkin Patch inside and outside the Fairview Elementary School library this Halloween. Students decorated pumpkins to look like one of their favorite book characters. Each decorated pumpkin earned the owner a prize.
