3rd grader, Rudhvika Nadikatla, in Mrs. Musante's class gave a presentation to her fellow students about the Hindu Festive of Lights, Diwali. She did a great job explaining the festival, why it is important and how her family celebrates! We are very proud of Rudhvika!

Our wonderful Kindergarten teachers took their classes to Sisson Pumpkin Patch earlier in October. The students (and the teachers) had a great time.
These are pictures from the last Launch Pad Day in STEM class! During this free choice makerspace time, students can choose to code robots, build marble runs, design Lego creations, film stop motions animation, play Osmo games, create something out of recycled materials, and more! The students love this time to be creative!
Fairview School District proudly collected 1500 pairs of socks to be donated to local charities, including the Emmaus Soup Kitchen. Thank you to all of our families who generously supported this effort.
It's always a treat for Dr. Kincade to read to the Kindergarten students. Hopefully the kids enjoy it as much as he does.
The Pink Color Fun Run was a huge success! Thanks to all who participated.

Students explored new ways of moving their bodies with our brand-new railyard fitness obstacle course. All of these movements and patterns help students explore their physical capabilities in a safe environment while increasing functional lifelong fitness and having a ton of fun!
Fairview Family:
We recently learned that our friends at Emmaus Soup Kitchen have a critical need for Men's Winter Socks. This is an opportunity for our Fairview Family to rise up and help our neighbors in need. Our goal is to provide this amazing organization with 2000 pairs of socks this month. Our Americorps volunteers will be organizing a sock drive next week. Be on the lookout for information. #DoAllThingsWithLove
Some of FSD's wonderful athletes are taking the time to come and have lunch with our Elementary School students! What a great example to show our younger students! Thank you!
Our 4th-grade students made this wonderful sign for our FES Custodians! October 2nd was National School Custodian Day and FES likes to think that we have the best (and the hardest working) in the business! Thank you to Ms. Stossmeister, Mrs. DeMartino, Mrs. Banister, Mr. Johnson, and Mrs. Campbell!
Lena with her very special teacher, Miss Glennon! Lena steals the hearts of everyone she comes in contact with!
In honor of October being Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Miss Sterling's 1st-grade class decorated ribbons for our favorite 1st grader, Lena! Lena always has a smile on her face and is always so happy to be in school!
