
Our first Spanish Club meeting had más de cincuenta (50+!!!) personas! Glad to see so many freshman sign up for new clubs at the activities fair. We hope to see you stay involved!


The wand chooses the wizard! Students in Miss Nelson’s Harry Potter elective have studied the best wand cores and wand woods. They sculpted and painted magic wands that are symbolic of their personalities. Their amazing work will be on display in the Magic Wand Museum next week!






Students in Mr. Barbour’s AP Research class are working to finalize their problem statement, research question, and preliminary investigation. They are preparing to begin their year-long project in which they collect and interpret original data for an academic paper.

AP Biology students Andrew Stevens and Rowan Quigley are conducting an investigation into animal behavior by observing pill bugs. Their work focuses on studying the organisms’ responses to environmental variables, such as moisture, light, and texture, in order to better understand innate behaviors like taxis and kinesis.



Students in Miss Ramsay's class are bringing to life missing scenes from the novel "The Princess Bride," which are not featured in the movie, through storyboards, videos, and screenplay writing. What were the hottest stories of Summer 2025? The students in Mrs. Nies's current events class could tell you! The first project in the class called for creating a poster and presentation on 5 of the top summer 2025 stories.





Mrs. Nelson’s 9th grade American Studies students practice geography skills through various modalities: hands on puzzles, crosswords, and online games.





Today was our first lab of Baking Basics! One bowl brownies! Yum!!



Students in Mrs. Quiggle's AP Human Geography class created maps to track the spread of "Cholera" around the classroom. Then, they engaged in a spatial analysis to identify the course of the outbreak and explain outliers and anomalies.






Intro to Fashion worked hard to find different types of clothes they love to wear!

Attention Class of 2025 and graduation ceremony attendees: Tonight's ceremony will be held outside in Jack Bestwick Stadium starting at 7 PM. The ceremony will be available via live stream by following the link posted on Schoology. Please be aware that the bleachers may be wet due to potential rain this afternoon.


Fairview School Foundation's FHS May student of the month. These students were recognized for our fourth pillar of ROAR, which is Resilience. Congratulations!

The Erie Experience classes took one last field trip this semester to celebrate some of Fairview's summer staples- Creamland and Avonia Beach.




FHS and FMS took 19 student presenters to PJAS.
16 achieved 1st awards and 3 achieved 2nd awards. Among the FMS, there were 2 perfect scores. ( highly unusual at the state level )
Lucky Aaluri, Anish Pabbati, and Ulyana Hoja received Perseverance Awards for 4 years of participation .
Ulyana Hoja was also recognized by the Pennsylvania Science Talent Search as an “Outstanding Junior”
Once again these students have done amazing things.




A special thank you to the Fairview Foundation for sponsoring the Erie Experience class trip to the Seawolves' game. The students had a great day at the ballpark!





Ninth grade environmental science students did macroinvertebrate sampling on campus. They sorted through their samples to find organisms and identified them using various keys. Tomorrow, students will determine stream health based on their findings.
