Safety and security of our students is very important to us. With our students in mind, we have adopted several ways to ensure that they feel secure and protected and are able to learn in a safe environment.
Raptor System
The Raptor vSoft program system is designed to register and sign-in visitors to each building. Every visitor who comes to our schools will be required to present a valid photo ID. The ID will be scanned through the program and kept at the front desk until the visit is over. Upon turning in the printed badge, you will receive your ID back. If you refuse to submit your identification, you will be denied entry into the building. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Since inception, Raptor has identified and alerted officials to more than 10,000 sex offenders entering schools and other organizations where children are present. The system has also been credited with the arrest of numerous absconded sex offenders that have crossed state lines. With this assurance, we feel that our students are protected within our building.
Camera System
Cameras have been installed throughout our buildings and are regulated on a timely basis. These cameras are purposeful for a number of reasons--the most important being that we can use it as a safety precaution.
